  • When Will The First Practice Be?: The first practices of the season usually begin mid July.
  • When Will The First Game Be?: The first games of the season usually begin the end of August.
  • Can My Player "Play Up"?: Players are discouraged from "playing up" and may ONLY do so with prior approval from a DRSA football director before enrolling. Regardless of this, all players MUST enroll for their correct grade.
  • What If I Need A Scholarship?: DRSA Football Scholarships are ONLY available to Dakota Ridge Area players. Out of area players are NOT ELIGIBLE for scholarships. Please email drsaom@hotmail for information.
  • Where Will Games Be Played?: Away games will be played at various locations. Home games may be played at Summit Ridge Middle School or Dakota Ridge High School.
  • Does My Player Need a Physical?: Yes. Physical Forms may be found directly on the Jefferson County Youth Football main website (forms may not be available immediately). Must have a physical completed before first practice.
  • Do I need purchase a uniform?: YES!! Uniform vendor and style are changing for DRSA this year. The uniform cost is included in your 2025 fees. ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A NEW UNIFORM THIS SEASON.
  • What does a uniform Include?: A reversible jersey and a pair of football pants with inserts for pads.
  • What Do My Fees Include?: Custom sublimated reversible jersey and football pants with pocket inserts for pads, JYFA League Fees (this includes Officials), DRSA Admin Fees, Practice/Game Field Rentals, Field Painting, 2 Day Camp at DRHS, Scholarship Offerings, Helmet decals, and Liability Insurance.
  • Do I pay a deposit when I register?: YES! A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due when you register. This amount will be applied to your total fees once your player is placed on a DRSA team. This amount is NOT refundable unless we are unable to place your player onto a DRSA team.
  • Why Is My Deposit NON-REFUNDABLE?: This amount covers non-refundable processing and admin fees. **Refunds of the deposit amount ARE ONLY REFUNDABLE IF DRSA CANNOT ASSIGN YOUR PLAYER TO A TEAM.
